Well,Im new to the boards but have been here watching and looking around for a while. I started with the new project and just picked up the chassis from the powder coater today. The color I picked is black with gold vein. I picked the rougher texture to hide some of welding flaws..lol
I picked the gold vein to make the color in the seat pop,and it looks awesome in the sunlight.
Ill show the chassis pics and stool pics I have for now.
The stool is a custom piece that I had made in black and tan ostrich skin.
What ya think?

Nice work!
Did you design the frame from scratch or get a frame kit?
Can you give us some specifics on your build? Brakes, Engine, TAV or Clutch etc?
Thanks,
Mike Bean

Hello and thanks for looking. I actually saw one a friend had and took some quick measurements and started from scratch. After finished mine turned out nothing like his..
The engine is a Honda Gc160 with a custom header to relocate exhaust to the rear..engine is getting 100% show polished as we speak.
Brakes are kart style hydraulic.
I am using carbon fiber mountain bike brake levers for throttle and brake.
The handlebars are 15" ape hangers with billett grips.
I am using a 12 tooth clutch for now.
The wheels are polished douglas blue's and the tires are yellow letter dunlap rain tires.
Every piece of aluminum is show polished and every last bolt is polished stainless capscrews.
I know some are thinking why in the heck did he use a GC160 Honda engine? Well, I already had it and know quite a bit about them so I was comfortable about it. This stool will see very little use other then show so Im not going to run it hard anyway....Ill post more pics as I start to put it back together.

hey there,
I read you have a custom exhaust. I want to move my honda exhaust out back also. Did you make it your self,, and if so where did you get the pipe. I would like to make my omn, but can't find any smaller, thinner pipe to use.
By the way, it looks great.
thanks,

Hello, I actually saw a barstool with a turbo on it on barstoolracing.net and I searched to find the guy who owns it and called him. He actually said it didnt make much power difference at all because of the small exhaust pulse that the engine puts off and he said he had a header that he was going to use. I ended up buying his,but I think fincool has them, but I didnt see them on the site, you may call them they may just make one.
here is a link to their site.
