I'm trying to build a BSR on a budget does anyone know about these engines?? There cheap but are the reliable? or just POS.

Hello, These engines are pretty Good! I got a 6.5 Sterling which is about the same take off of a Honda.Only mine had electric Start and paid 117.50 plus 49.50 shipping. Its a good engine!! Watch in Ebay Auctions to get the best deal! I would not be afraid of it. I have also seen other members here with that same engine on there bsr's.:wave:

Hey Moto how do you hook up a throttle cable to these engines? Do they have a return spring?:cheers:

Hello, It is quit easy to hook up your throttle cable on these engines. They have a cable holder already built onto it and all you have to do is put a return spring on it to complete the set up! Also you have to losen off of the nut holding the throttle lever on to make it pull and return easier . See attached photos.:thumb:

I have one of those Sterling engines also and I have been wondering how to hook up the throttle cable too (whenever I get all my crap together, so I can start building!!!!), thanks.
