Hey Thunderbolt,
I am willing to bet the guy flying in the air above his motor cycle never got back on it after the wind drag caught him. I bet the rest of his wild ride was on the road rash highway...

Hey Mike, I wonder myself. Not sure I'd bet against it. After seeing many stunts on Extreme X games and wild stunts on movies I could believe he'd make it, a hell of a rush trying it anyway, positons of both in the photo looks good. One of the craziest things I've ever seen was a dude on a crotch rocket hanging a long distance wheelie with other bikers on interstate 95 with 75 mph traffic flow at about 9pm. rush hour traffic, dark outside, 5 lanes wide, wall to wall traffic and not much space in between vehicles, if he'd have wiped out he'd be MUSH, not much left to claim/i.d. There's some crazyassed people on this planet for sure.

Made it or not, glad to see he had half of a brain and wore a helmet.
But I say not going to make it that wind will stop you in your tracks

this is certainly an interesting scenario to ponder, trouble is that we don't know the end result. Yes, it's good that he has a full helmet, gloves and jacket. Initially I studied the shadows and such to determine if the picture was digitally modified but it looks good to me. I feel that he did make it, the bike and rider in his airborn posture BOTH have similar frontal area/mass, his body posture and position relative to the bike in this shot is excellant and he's probably at the apex in height so as long as the bike is constant in speed and direction I'd think that the second it'd take to land on the bike would do the trick. My feelings also are that this wasn't a first attempt either, wish we knew the answer.

I just watched the movie Ghost Rider with Nick Cage and realized that this is the bike he used when it transformed from the Harley chopper into the firey Ghost Rider. an awesome amount of detail just on the exhaust not to mention the rest of it. was cool seeing Peter Fonda from Easy Rider in this flic.
