I found a new frame design I realy like, http://barflyracers.com/showthread.php?t=667 thats it, Ive seen it on a couple of bsrs and was wondering if anybody knew where I could get one? Would anybody be able to make one for me? If so how much would it cost? I would like to use this style frame on one of my next bsrs.

hey mini me
I have built 3 bsr's with this design, but I haven't got time to build one right now. I originally found a frame like it on ebay for sale, downloaded a picture, and figured out the measurements on my own. Maybe keep looking there for one for sale. It was maybe 3 years ago that I saw it. Don't know who or if he is still selling them.
I could send you the measurements of mine if you like.
good luck

Ok, thanks. couldyou send me the measurements? Was all that you had to use a tubing bender and a welder to make the frame? thanks

yeah, just a bender and a welder. I used a tubing notcher too, but you can get by without that. I am going to work right now, and leaving town tonite, but I will try to post the measurements this weekend

Can you email me the measurements for that frame? I'm gonna build a bsr this summer and start with a go-kart frame and cut it up. My email is jt_2004@hotmail.com

mini me...
The last post for the ebay auction is the same frame as the one in your link that started this thread. Only difference is how the steering upright is supported.
Here is a link to Finn Kool. They build a good frame and sells it for $ 175 already powerder coated. http://www.finn-kool.com/Gallery.htm
Good luck to you...post pictures of yours when you get going on it...

I would still like some measurements on some frames, I'm intending to buy a go-kart and cut it up then use it to build my bsr.

How about just buying the steel instead of a go-kart and cutting it up? Is there a reason you want to use a go-kart to start from instead of buying the steel?
Are you talking about a complete go-kart running? Or a frame?

I don't know why this is so damn hard for me, but i will try it again. Here is a fairly poorly drawn sketch and measurements of my frame. I have done 3 of them and none of them turn out exactly the same. For me close is good enuf. I hope this helps. any's ?'s let me know. I like this sight, but i have had the damnest time signing in and posting things lately that i am just about ready to just give it up!!!
